Tower of vinyl records

A collection of vinyl records forming a tower.
The records are a mixture of 12 inch LPs from the early 1970s, by artists such as Joan Armatrading, Country Joe and the Fish and Captain Beefheart, along with 10 inch records from Soviet-era Czechoslovakia and one 7 inch single by Musical Youth. The only significance of the choice of records is that they were the ones that were conveniently to hand.
The tower is topped by a sphere to which are attached pawns from a chess set.
