Mirror Images: reflections and illusions

I've been fascinated by optics all of my life (to the extent that in my teens I constructed an astronomical telescope, including grinding the instrument's 8.5 inch parabolic mirror).
This series of works uses mirrors to create optical effects that are difficult to interpret, in an exploration of our perception of reflections and illusions.
I started developing the series in July 2015.
